Craig Wellander
Coach Craig was introduced to the art of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu at a very young age (8). He trained mainly (No-Gi) Submission Grappling at first, but also learned striking and wrestling as well.

After many years of training, he took a break, but shortly after, missed the art very much. He then decided to make a return and find an academy where he could specifically focus on his Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and submission Grappling rather than mixing it with other arts. This search brought him to DMBJJ. Since joining the team coach Craig has won numerous BJJ Tournament titles and continues to compete at a very high level!  He has earned multiple sponsorship's from his performances and looks to become the next DMBJJ World Champion. Coach Craig regularly teaches the DMBJJ Thursday night Essentials Class!
